BBVA wishes to contribute to the inclusive and sustainable growth of society. For this reason, the Bank is once again launching the “BBVA General Shareholders’ Meeting Solidarity Initiative” through which it will contribute with an economic donation to the development of different solidarity initiatives.

BBVA will allocate €300,000 to award four solidarity initiatives of NGOs, which presented in an open call, during the month of December 2023, projects with impact in the areas of inclusive growth and environment. The following four categories have been established.

• Social and/or economic inequality
• Education
• Health and Dependency
• Environment

The selection process for the winning project in each of these four areas will be coordinated by BBVA’s Responsible Business unit and a multidisciplinary committee. The winning projects in each impact area will receive a fixed amount and a variable amount based on the votes cast by shareholders. The winners will be announced during the 2024 Shareholders’ Meeting.
