The main highlight in wholesale business activity is a further improvement in the commercial and liquidity gap, as a result of the positive performance in customer deposits and CIB’s strategy based on a customer-centric approach, cross-selling and prioritizing profitability over volume.

In earnings, it has been an excellent year due to the strength and quality of gross income, driven by the positive performance in the Global Transactional Banking and Global Markets units, cost control and the reduction in loan-loss provisions.
